Seychelles .. Committee virgin nature lovers


Boasting a warm, tropical climate throughout the year, the Seychelles can be visited regardless of the season, although some periods are more appropriate depending on the desired activities.

Two seasons are distinguished by the trade winds. When they blow from the north oust from October to March, the wind speed is average of 8 to 12 knots, whereas when the trade winds blow from the south is from May to September, the winds reach 10 to 20 knots, bringing freshness and windier conditions ideal for navigation.

Periods of transition inter seasons in April and October are usually pretty hot with little wind. The best time for diving is in April / May and October / November, the water temperature sometimes reaches 29ºC and visibility of over 30 meters.

The "SUBIOS Underwater Festival" is a showcase for the discovery of the extraordinary underwater world of the Seychelles, through a series of exhibitions, talks, films and competitions, while the "Festival Kreol '(a celebration of Creole heritage and traditions for a week) takes place in October each year.

The "Seychelles SailingCup," an event of international sailing, refreshes in January then in November it was the turn of "International FishingCompetition." There are also many other local fishing competitions throughout the year.
